Enhancements:

Developing, sharpening, noise removal, color changes, cropping, special effects and more.

The photo of the cathedral was taken with a cell phone somewhere in Europe. The lens distortion created a skewing effect, the tallest tower looks like it's leaning to the right.
The general quality is good as it is daylight, but more of the impressive architecture would have been ideal.

In straightening the tower, the image forground has been, of necessity, cropped. Also, the sky has been lengthened to to create more balance. The smaller towers still look like they are leaning because of the lens distorsion that could not be corrected. I also did a black and white version which is dramatic in its own way.

I actually really like the black and white version.
