Turn Your Photo Into Wall Art
Enhance, Dramatize, Resize * More!
Art is personal, but if I am altering a photo for you a starting point
for me is helpful. It's especially important to know how large it should be to
fit your planned placement.
If you don't know how to describe your decor, here are some style examples. (Don't take this wild background
as an indication that other styles can't be created! Look at your space, what are the colors you like?
Mid-Century Modern; refined, minimalist silhouettes; it
played with ways to use materials like molded plastic, plywood,
and aluminum.
Industrial; creatively using exposed steel
and brick,
distressed wood (like log cabin meets
factory).
Coastal Cottage; beach house with subtle beach
colors and of course blue is in there somewhere as an accent.
Driftwood, seashells nets and more.
Scandinavian (think Ikea); cool colors like white or grey,
balanced object proportions, orderly.
Bohemian; warm, rich colors
and patterns. more "lived in" with world-wide, ethnic accents.
Farmhouse, (think French, not Wisconsin); white and light, warm and neutral colors with pops of yellow or blue.
Urban Modern; elegant, artistic use of geometric and vintage
items.
Shabby Chic; putting together vintage elements (flea
market)...your grandmother's attic treasures updated with a modern
take. Colors are soft and light, but with lots of stronger and
vibrant accents, paint on furniture is distressed.
