Colleen's Story...
In my teens I fell in love with art and started painting landscapes in oils. Due to earning two college degrees and raising a family, there were few opportunities to pursue art and painting. However, when time permitted I painted large (7 feet x 6 feet) landscape murals. One special painting was for the mother of a daughter who committed suicide. She gave me a photo to use as inspiration.

PAINTING TRULY TEACHES ONE TO SEE...

When I lost my studio space, I learned graphic design. My vocation for most of my life was nursing. Nursing has many important elements of "seeing". I was a registered nurse in a city hospital for over twenty years. Attentive care of the patient meant picking up on subtle problem signs which could be easily overlooked.

Now I've become a farmer. I love to hike with my dogs the fields, woods and marshes taking photographs. Learning to capture and edit uses all of my talents in creating and seeing; I absolutely love what I do...I have no more room on my walls, I would love to help you with yours!
